Door beeping

My Equinox has the door buttons to lock it but it doesn't beep like when i lock it with the fob. Is this normal or did i mess something up in the settings?

Your equinox door buttons not beeping is totally normal mine does that too! The fob's got that beep to let you know its locked from a distance but the door buttons don't need it since you are right there. Check your settings under "Remote Lock, Unlock Start" if you wanna tweak it but you didn't mess anything up so just chill!

relax, you didnt mess up anything. tweak it on the settings menu.

I took mine to the dealer to have the beep enabled and they seemed to to the job. Id was bothering me as well that it doesn't beep

I think you can tick that option on the dashboard.

It's totally normal if your Equinox doesn't make a beep when you lock it using the door buttons. Typically, the beep only sounds when you use the key fob. If you'd like to have a beep with the fob, you can change that in the settings. Just let me know if you need any assistance
