Brand new Equinox LT problem

I'm trying to help my parents with a weird issue on their new 2025 Equinox LT.

The check engine light came on over the weekend (twice on Sunday). But then on Monday and Tuesday, it was just off, and the car drove like normal.
I think that's weird, but they took it to the dealer today, and it looks like it's a known issue that GM is investigating. The dealer's report mentioned a P050D code.

Has anyone else had this happen with their 2025 Equinox? Just trying to figure out if it's a widespread thing. Any insights would be helpful!

If the dealer documented it, your parents are covered and once GM pushes out the fix which is most likely a software update, they'll probably call them back in
