What's the best way to clear dealership settings on a new Equinox?

I just traded in my old sedan for a 2025 Chevrolet Equinox LT here in Chicago and I'm trying to figure out how to reset everything. The dealership had already set up some demo stuff and I'd rather start fresh. I saw the infotainment reset option but wasn't sure if I should do that before or after resetting the vehicle settings. Does anyone know if either reset affects the driver profiles or seat memory? I'd like to get everything personalized before I start syncing my phone and apps.

I drive a 2022 Chevy Equinox Premier in LA and had the same issue after buying it used. I reset the screen system first, then the car settings, my seat memory and driver profile stayed the same. You'll need to go into the profile settings to change those yourself. Doing the reset helped remove old Bluetooth links and apps.

I wanted to provide an update for anyone with a 2025 model who might find this thread. @TheKirbys_90 I followed your suggested procedure this past weekend, resetting the infotainment system first and then the main vehicle settings. I can confirm that on my 2025 LT, doing this did not erase the driver profile or the seat memory settings, just as you experienced. The resets successfully cleared all the old Bluetooth connections and other demo information, allowing me to set everything up fresh for myself.
