Just wanted to share something I found out about my Equinox today.
I had to take it to the dealer for some active shutter problems and a check engine light. Turns out there was a software update available.
The good news is that it fixed my issues and even added a cool new feature. Yeah, I can now program my garage door right from the settings menu! It's pretty slick.
The bad news is, it still didn't get rid of that super annoying "passenger lockout" message that pops up every single time someone gets in the passenger seat. Does anyone else deal with that?
It all got me thinking, though. Why aren't these kinds of updates just pushed out over the air, right? It would save everyone a ton of time. What's the deal with that?
