2025 Equinox Premier OnStar dead after jump start

So, I kinda messed up and left the dome light on in my new Equinox Premier all night. Had to jump-start it, and now OnStar is totally dead, no GPS, and the blue light's off. Funny thing is, the MyChevrolet app says everything's fine. The dealer thinks I might have fried the OnStar thingy when I jumped it. Now I'm waiting to see what's up. Has anyone else had this happen after a jump-start?

Seen cases where the OnStar unit just needs a reset or reprogram from the dealer, hopefully it's not a full replacement. If the app still shows things working, there's a good chance the hardware's okay and just needs to be brought back online.

I empathise with you because a colleague of mine has been in such a situation although I dont know how he tackled it and I dont really have much info to help right now but If the dealer's saying it's fried, hopefully they can confirm before any costly repairs

@bigmanchopper is right, if the app's still feeding info then the unit is probably alive, just not talking to the car. A dealer reflash might be all it takes
