Lost radio presets and Bluetooth pairings on my 2017 Equinox anyone else?

So, yesterday I ran into a pretty frustrating issue with my 2017 Chevy Equinox. Out of the blue, all my radio presets and Bluetooth connections just vanished! Has anyone else had this happen? I can't help but think it might be connected to that recent software update we all heard about.

I'd really appreciate any insights or advice you might have if you've dealt with something similar.

I would say an update that could cause this, but I don't know if the 2017 models are still getting updates. The only thing I can think of is the car battery. Have you noticed problems starting it? Maybe the connectors need cleaning? The thing you explained happens when you disconnect the battery which is why I'm voting for that yto be the problem

Also, the 2017 Equinox can get updates, but not OTA, it's via USB or dealer only. If you haven't done that, updates aren't your issue, then it must probably be the battery.

Try holding Home + Seek Down for 10 sec to reboot. If no luck, check for a factory reset in the settings.

Sometimes it's just the head unit resetting itself, but if it keeps happening, there might be a deeper issue like a faulty memory backup or a glitch in the update itself too
