Picked up a 2025 equinox RS and noticed something weird with android auto google maps. On the gauge cluster when i start navigation, the bottom part of the screen looks cut off and the green direction banner is sitting dead center. Is this normal or is there a way to fix this? kind of annoying when driving.

It looks like an infotainment system issue there. Have you tried adjusting the display setting on your car? It might work or you may need some bug fix or system update. Good luck!

The layout glitch is quite common in newer GM screens. Try switching to full-screen CarPlay mode if you got an iPhone to test or maybe tweak the display settings under Android Auto.

@DanTheMan88 from what I've heard, it's a software glitch on chevy's side, they say it got better after a system update, so definitely check if your infotainment is running the latest version. Otherwise, there isn't much you can do except wait for a patch.
In the meantime maybe you could try rely on your phone or a separate GPS device for navigation
